How do I change a booking?

Change rental request

If the pick up and return times of a booking are incorrect or the booking must start eg a day earlier, it must be changed. This is only possible by canceling the booking and requesting a new booking. The times of a rental request can not be adjusted after it has been sent. It is possible to extend an existing booking. Read here how it works with extensions.

Canceling a booking is possible online via My Trips > Bookings > click on the relevant booking > choose Cancel.

Change a paid booking

Do you want to change the times of a booking that has already been paid? Please contact the owner. In this case, he must cancel the booking. In this way you will automatically get the money back. You can then submit a new request.

Cancel a paid booking

If you want to cancel a paid booking then there are costs involved. In case of a cancellation with more than 24 hours before the start of the booking, you will pay € 10 cancellation costs and the booking amount will automatically be refunded. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start of the booking, the booking amount will not be refunded. This will be paid out to the car owner.
