How do I change or cancel a booking?

Change rental request

Do you receive a rental request and the times do not completely match what suits you? You can then reject the rental request and ask the renter to submit a new rental request with the new dates and times.

Change a paid booking

If the collection and return times of a booking are incorrect or the booking must start e.g. a day earlier, the booking must be changed. This can only be done by canceling a booking and by requesting the renter to create a new booking. In this case you must cancel the booking as an owner. When the renter cancels, cancellation fees are automatically charged and you as an owner will be paid out in some cases. This is an automatic process that we can not reverse. It is therefore important that you as an owner cancel the booking so that the renter can submit a new request and the money will be refunded.

Note: Canceling a booking can be done online via My reservations > click on the booking > select Cancel.

Cancel the paid booking

If you want to cancel a paid booking (without consultation with the renter or a good reason) we can charge extra costs. With a cancellation with more than 24 hours prior the start, this is € 10 and in case of cancellation within less than 24 hours prior to the start, € 75.
