The SnappCar fee is set by SnappCar and the insurance fee is set by the insurance company, in collaboration with SnappCar. The fees are set in accordance with costs to provide the platform services and insurance, as well as a (small) margin to cover fixed costs not allocated to a rental.
A SnappCar fee and insurance fee are added on top of the day price that the owner sets. The SnappCar fee is 13,5% of the day price. If the renter drivers more kilometers than the free amount, there will be an added fee to this cost as well, in the same way (13,5% for SnappCar fee) on top of the cost that goes directly to the owner.
