If your car gets damaged during a rental period the damage will be sent to Allianz when the damage is reported at the check-out. Allianz will contact you about the repair process. During this process, they will determine whether or not the damage falls under the coverage of the insurance policy. If that is the case, they will instruct your garage to repair your car at Allianz’ expense. If not, you have the choice to have it repaired at your own expense or not.
