The car owner is responsible for the car after check-out. This means that the car owner must ensure that the car is properly parked after a renter returns the car by being present at check-out. If this is not the case, for example with a keyless booking, then the renter must return the car on the agreed date and time at a permitted location that has been approved by the car owner.
