What are the conditions for cancelling a booking?

When you confirm a booking via SnappCar, you agree to our terms and conditions. These include the rules for cancellations.

Want to cancel a paid booking?

  • More than 24 hours before the start time. the renter gets a full refund.

  • Less than 24 hours before the start time, cancelling without a valid reason? A €75 fee applies.

What counts as a valid reason?

The car is unexpectedly unavailable, for example, due to damage or a breakdown. We recommend only accepting bookings when you’re sure the car is available.

Why is my car offline?

If you cancel several bookings in a row without any successful rentals in between, we temporarily take your car offline. That way, renters aren’t left disappointed.

We always recommend looking for a solution first, cancelling should only be a last resort.
