How to cancel a booking as a car owner

Sometimes things don’t go as planned and you need to cancel a booking. That’s possible, but there are a few important steps to follow.

Step 1: Talk to the renter

Start by contacting the renter and explain why you want to cancel. See if there’s an alternative, maybe a different time or another car.

Step 2: You cancel the booking

Have you both agreed to cancel? Then you, as the owner, need to cancel the booking. Only then will the renter automatically get a refund. So don’t let the renter do it themselves.

Step 3: How to cancel via the app or website

  • Go to My bookings

  • Select the booking

  • Tap Cancel

The renter will automatically be notified.

🔔 Please note.

  1. Cancel a booking less than 24 hours before the start time without a valid reason? A €40 fee will apply.

  2. Cancel a booking within two weeks before the start time? A €20 fee will apply.
