With a keyless booking you can open and close these cars yourself using the app. So you don't need to meet the owner.
How to check in:
Open the app and click on ‘Check in’
Follow the steps and take photos of the car from the specified angles
Check for damage and compare this with the damage overview in the app. If you see anything new, report it immediately
Click on ‘Open the car’, the doors will open automatically.
The car keys are in the glove compartment.
Start the engine and take a photo of the mileage and fuel level. Most cars record this automatically, but a photo is always useful as proof.
Remember where you parked the car, you will need to return it there later.
You are now ready to hit the road!
If any issues arise with the keyless system at the start or during your booking, please contact support.
Checking out & returning a Keyless car
During the trip, you use the physical car keys. But when returning the car, you follow the digital check-out process again.
How to check out:
Refuel to the same level as at the start of your trip. (Keep the fuel receipt for safety's sake.)
Return the car to the correct location, unless you have been instructed otherwise by the owner.
Turn off the engine, close the windows, and turn off the lights.
Put the key back in the glove compartment.
Take your personal belongings with you.
Get out and lock the car via the app.
Take photos of all sides of the car and any new damage.
Report any damage immediately in the app.
⚠️ Please note: if you don't lock the car via the app, it will remain unlocked and you will be responsible for anything that happens. Is something not working? Call the owner immediately.
