With SnappCar Keyless, you can rent out your car without being there in person. Renters open and lock the car using the SnappCar app. You decide when to rent out, no hassle at your doorstep.
How does it work?
Once the Keyless system is installed:
You and the renter (with a valid booking) can open and lock the car via the app
The car is secured with an immobilizer
You can view your car’s location (except during an active trip)
Keyless cars are marked with a blue Keyless icon in the app. You can activate the system via your car settings.
Installation & Technology
We work with systems from 2Hire and Invers
Installation is done by certified technicians at your home or on location
Home installation is possible in dry weather and temperatures above 5°C
Make sure the installer has sufficient space to perform the installation.
In-home installation will be charged.
Privacy & Data Usage
The Keyless system records:
Mileage
GPS location
Fuel level
This data is used only for safe rentals and is never shared with third parties—except in cases of fraud or misuse.
Want to use your car yourself?
No problem. Just use your own key as usual. Want to rent it out again? Place the key inside the car and lock it using the app.
