Every car on SnappCar includes a set number of free kilometers in the daily rate. If you drive more than that number, you’ll pay an additional per-kilometer rate set by the owner in advance, which you’ll see before you book. If you stay within the free kilometer limit, you won’t pay anything extra.
Please note: If you rent a car for half a day, the free kilometers are halved.
The kilometers driven are usually recorded automatically via the dashboard. For some cars, we track this via GPS. It’s always a good idea to take a photo of the mileage reading at both check-in and check-out.
If you drive more kilometers than the free kilometers included in a booking, these costs will be billed after the booking is made (+10% commission). You’ll then pay a predetermined amount per kilometer. This amount will be deducted from your security deposit.
