We hold the deposit for up to 72 hours after the booking. This is because a damage report or another issue may arise within that timeframe, which prevents us from fully closing the financial side of the booking. After 72 hours, you can request your deposit back in the following way:
Via the app:
Go to your profile at the bottom right
Select ‘Deposit’
Submit your request there
🔔 Please note: Enter your IBAN in your payment settings, otherwise we will not be able to refund the amount.
Via the website:
Click on your profile photo in the top right corner
Select 'Edit profile'
Go to ‘Deposit’ in the left-hand menu
Submit your request there
Are you unable to request your deposit back?
There is usually a reason for this:
The 72 hours after the end of your booking have not yet passed
You have not yet submitted an active request for a deposit refund
Your payment settings have not yet been completed
You have a future booking pending
A damage claim is still pending
There are outstanding payments in your profile
Have you requested the deposit but not yet received it?
