With fuel automation, our keyless technology reads your car's fuel level automatically. This only works with keyless cars. At the moment roughly 85% of cars can report the fuel level correctly. Whether this works for your car depends on the technology in the car. We distinguish two groups:
1. Works automatically
The car reports a reliable fuel level. We apply a 1% margin of error; if the difference is larger, we settle it automatically. You don't have to do anything.
2. Not possible
This car can't report the fuel level technically. You continue to arrange fuel together with the renter.
Sometimes reading the fuel is technically possible, but something goes wrong. Together with the manufacturers and installers we can often fix this. Please contact us so we can help you. Until then, arrange fuel with the renter as usual.
What do I get paid out?
If a renter returns the car with too little fuel, you receive the value of the missing fuel (based on CBS fuel prices). If the difference is more than 10% of the tank, a fixed amount of € 10 is added so you can refuel the car. On top of this total we withhold 10% service costs, which cover processing and any bad debt.
